Features

01

Limited height of plants (below one meter in height for most species studied).

02

The development of a dense rhizomatous apparatus, extending horizontally in the first 20/40 cm of soil.

03

Upholstering posture, which prevents the growth of unwanted weeds.

04

The rhizomes are easily contained through special containment sheaths.

05

It grows in any exposure (it can be grown in full sun, half shade and shade).

06

If necessary, the plant can be easily grubbed up by mechanical and/or chemical operations.

07

At the developed plant resists to temperatures up to – 25 ºS C + 50 ºF.

08

It grows without problems in association with arboreal plants and/or shrub plants, without parasitizing the other plant species).

09

Grow and develop with proper automatic irrigation, so as to avoid waste or lack of water.

10

Pruning and maintenance operations limited and not mandatory.

11

A showy and compact vegetation, not too invasive and evergreen.

12

Thanks to the extensive and articulated rhizomatous root system is equipped with phyto depurative capacity.

13

It creates a constant patching of the soil through the continuous leaf exchange.

Observations and Studies

From the observations made on studies and researches currently in existence we can say that the types of plants used, thanks to the above characteristics, can successfully perform the following functions:

>

Greening and enhancing areas degraded or characterized by neglect.

>

Reduce the development of weeds.

>

Simply develop evergreen areas where it would be impossible to have green.
(yards, urban areas, rocky areas, etc…).
